Webmin on Centos 5.7

Webmin is a web-based interface for system administration for Linux/Unix. Using any modern web browser, you can setup a DHCP server, a DNS Server, user accounts, Apache, file sharing and much more.Webmin removes the need to manually edit Unix configuration files.

create webmin.repo file

# gedit  /etc/yum.repos.d/webmin.repo

and paste text

[Webmin]
name=Webmin Distribution Neutral
mirrorlist=http://download.webmin.com/download/yum/mirrorlist
enabled=1

Download and import key

# wget http://www.webmin.com/jcameron-key.asc
# rpm –import jcameron-key.asc

Install webmin

#  yum install webmin

You should now be able to visit your webmin login page on port 10000 (use your own IP number):

https://your_IP:10000
